Liudmila Sun's art is as refined and luxurious as her artistic path.
After studying art in Moldova, she moved to Milan where she graduated from the European Institute of Design. This leads her to work with luxury companies such as Molteni&Co, Dada, Jacuzzi, Luxottica. At the same time, she continued her artistic career both with the fruitful collaboration in the artistic duo ElixArt and individually. Fascinated by the French painting of the Parisian Impressionists, she dedicated herself, like them, with constancy to realize her works en plein air. So, art combined with another greatest passion for travels, makes her a traveling artist: you can meet her, while creating her works, on the beach of Cannes in French Riviera, in the winter skiing and painting in Alps, hiking on the hills of the Cinque Terre. Fears no wind, no weather conditions.
Her paintings are made of full and precious colors. Her sunsets are fire, her sunrises are gold, her landscapes are mosaics. Delightful in seeing the bright and multiform tones, the eye of the observer marvels: you did not think so many colors existed.
Liudmila not only captures the specter of the visible, she is also an inexhaustible researcher: she dedicates herself to pastel, although in Europe it is a forgotten art. And once again her works show us the opposite.
For oil painting, however, Liudmila has rediscovered a long-lost technique: painting on gold. On the canvas she spreads a thin gold leaf and paints on them: the resulting colors have, for this reason, a higher light gradation than the simple oil painting.
Her works are present in various European and Russian collections, as well as being present in numerous 5-stars hotels in Cannes and Milan.
